SNAD is focusing on the following areas: in Arizona - Round Cedar, Leuup, Cedar Springs, Dilkon, Nazlini - in New Mexico - Ramah Navajo

Round Cedar, Arizona is on the Central Zone of SNAD. Go north on Hwy 99, there are 2 entrances for Round Cedar. They are located on the Left side when you are traveling going North. You have to travel on dirt roads for a few miles to reach the Round Cedar Church. During rainy season you can not drive to this church. The road is flooded. Leupp, Arizona is on the Central Zone of SNAD. Go north on HWY 99 to Leupp, AZ. On the web site go to the Leupp church page to find out what work need to be done.

Cedar Springs, Arizona is on the Central Zone of SNAD. Cedar Springs is on the right side of highway 87. This makes it easy access to shopping and travel. Go to the Cedar Springs church page to find out what work need to be done.

Dilkon, Arizona is on the Central Zone of SNAD. Dilkon is on the right side of highway 87 about 5 miles. This makes it easy access to shopping and travel. Go to the Dilkon church page to find out what work need to be done.

Round Cedar, Leupp, Cedar Springs, Dilkon, are all located approximatly 1 to 2 hours drive north of Winslow, Arizona.

Nazlini, Arizona is on the Eastern Zone of SNAD. On the web site go to the Nazlini church page to find out what work need to be done.
Nazlini, AZ is located East of HWY 191 north of Sanders, AZ.

Ramah Navajo, New Mexico is on the Eastern Zone of SNAD. On the web site go to the Ramah Navajo church page to find out what work need to be done.

SNAD Southwest Native American District work appreciated

A Navajo Tribal Councilman provided a wonderful buffet breakfast in Phoenix to let our SNAD pastors and spouses know that work is appreciated. Members of the Leupp Church of the Nazarene are also the founders of a large Native AMerican outreach event called THE RANCH CAMP. Each year over the Labor Day Weekend this couple organizes a four day, 70 mile horse back campout trail ride. Every evening old fashioned tent revivals are held with gospel music and preaching. The w007 event hosted over 1000 people and saw 45 new converts baptized. Pray for this coupld and their leadership on the Southwest Native American District, and that more souls will we reached during this RANCH CAMP 2008.

I just wanted to take a minute and say thank you. It’s not only the
financial support that is allowing me to go on this trip, it is lots of time
and effort put in by many of you - my friends and family - that have taught,
encouraged and supported me along a very long road. And for that I am
eternally grateful. Not to mention a loving, merciful God that reached down
deep into the pits of a living hell and pulled me up and rescued me. Thank you, Jesus.
I would like to extend a special thank you to Running Elk Ministries (better
known as Ed and Linda Krestel) - because of a most incredible 1st trip that
you two led and organized, I have a deep seated desire to continue in
missions work. Thank You
Pastor, thank you for countless hours in your office. That’s not to
say I always enjoyed the talks - but each time I grew up just a little bit
more.
Finally, I would like to dedicate this mission trip to the Chaplain who
recently went home to be with the Jesus he loved so much. It is because of
this man’s obedience and faithfulness inside the walls of prison that I
received Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I’ll never forget you Chap and I will
see you again.

Side note from a participant from a Dilkon Work and Witness Trip: We did some basic construction improvements, landscaping, cleaning and organizing. This church had suffered a fire due to vandalism. We did take some time to enjoy the beautiful countryside.
Canyon de Chelley - we hiked to the bottom of and of course back up! We also got to go horseback riding across the open prairie; which was incredible.
